This Agreement is entered into by and between: Client: ("Client") and Flicker Indoor Air Solutions ("Inspector"), operated by Michelle
Scope of Services Flicker Indoor Air Solutions agrees to perform a Rapid Results Radon Test using charcoal canister testing technology. The purpose of this test is to measure the concentration of radon gas within the specified area of the Client's property.
Testing follows EPA short-term radon testing protocols, typically requiring 48 to 96 hours of exposure depending on environmental conditions.
Results are generally available within 24 to 48 hours of laboratory analysis completion.
Each radon charcoal testing kit can cover an area of up to approximately 1200 square feet per living level. Additional zone testing may be added for additional fee's.
Client Responsibilities To ensure accurate and reliable testing results, the Client agrees to: Maintain closed-house conditions (keep windows and exterior doors closed except for normal entry/exit) for 12 hours prior to and during the test period. Avoid use of fireplaces, fans, or ventilation systems that exchange indoor and outdoor air excessively during the testing period. Not move, tamper with, or cover the testing device(s) once placement has occurred. Notify the Inspector immediately if there are any changes or disturbances to the testing environment during the test period.
Limitations of Testing Radon: testing represents conditions only during the test period and may vary due to weather, ventilation, or occupancy changes. This test does not guarantee future radon levels or indoor air conditions. Flicker Indoor Air Solutions shall not be liable for changes in radon levels after the testing period or for any corrective actions taken based on the results.
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of device retrieval or upon completion of testing unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment may be made by check, or electronic payment by check or credit card with an additional 3% fee for debit and credit transactions.
A travel or site fee may apply for properties located more than 25 miles from Weaverville.
If payment is not received within seven (7) days of invoice, a late fee of $25 may be applied.
Results and Reporting A written Radon Testing Report will be provided to the Client by email or printed format within 24 to 48 hours after the testing device is retrieved and laboratory analysis is completed.
Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any legal action arising out of this Agreement shall be filed in the County of Buncombe.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance By signing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Radon Testing Agreement.
