Grades 4th through 8th
December 22 and 23 | 9:00am to 12:00pm
Join our violin and cello teacher, Aniela Perry, for a joyful and inspiring Christmas Strings Camp!
Campers will explore a variety of string techniques and musical activities suited to all levels. Together, we’ll dive into fundamentals such as tone, rhythm, bow work, ensemble playing, and musical expression—always approached with warmth, curiosity, and creativity.
Camp participants will have the opportunity to play both individually and in small groups, discovering how their unique sound contributes to a shared musical piece. We’ll also enjoy simple improvisation games, seasonal melodies, and collaborative music-making that brings our camp community together.
Aniela will share examples from her own professional work to introduce students to different styles and possibilities within the world of strings.
Campers must treat instruments and materials with care and respect.
As always, please pack lunches and water bottles so campers can stay energized and focused throughout our musical day.
