What ballot line is the candidate running on? *Note: Nonpartisan and Independent are not the same! Nonpartisan means none of the candidates in the election have a designated party preference on their ballot line. This is often the case in municipal, county, school board, and judicial races, as well as the Nebraska Unicameral. Independent or Not Affiliated means the candidate does not have a party preference on their ballot line in a partisan race where other candidates may have a party preference listed. Being a socialist or being endorsed by a group like Working Families is not the same as running on a socialist ballot line or a Working Families Party ballot line.

Candidate Commitments
In the following section, we ask if the candidate will pledge to various commitments. Failure to agree to any one or more commitments does not necessarily result in an automatic non-endorsement. Endorsements are ultimately decided democratically via a vote made available to all members in good standing within the chapter. However, responses to this section and others will be made available to the electoral committee membership before the electoral committee interview and will be made available to chapter membership before the chapter-wide interview.
