Research on the likelihood of students asking for help if they need it and whether certain factors affect them being willing or able to do so. We all could use a helping hand sometimes, though some of use struggle to get the words out.
I could use your help! I am in a graduate program to become a teacher and I must conduct research of my choosing and this idea has resonated with me for a couple classes now. I had to ask for help this week and it was both terrifying and freeing. It is something that solidified what my research will be on. Can students ask for help when they need it? Did/do you feel safe enough to ask for help from teachers? And if not, why?
