2026 Staff of the Year

2026 Teacher & Staff Member of the Year Nomination Form
WACS established the Teacher of the Year program to elevate the calling of Christian school educators and to honor the dedication required in the ministry of Christian education. Those in education understand that classroom teachers serve daily on the front lines, shaping the hearts and minds of young people. This program is designed to spotlight the faithful work and impact of classroom teachers.

Each WACS school may nominate one elementary teacher (K4–Grade 6) and one secondary teacher (Grades 7–12). In addition, schools may submit a nomination for Staff Member of the Year. This may include a secretary, aide, janitor, or other non-volunteer staff member who demonstrates exceptional dedication to the ministry.

Nomination forms must be received by the WACS office no later than Friday, September 18.

This year’s recipients will be selected by an impartial committee and announced during the final general session of the WACS Educators Conference on Friday, October 9, 2026. Each honoree will receive a plaque and a small gift.
