Thank you for your interest in joining the Wildlife Jewels® EYES™ Collective as a Wildlife Monitor Volunteer! Our volunteers help protect coastal and marine wildlife through observation, documentation, and reporting. Please complete this form; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected applicants will be invited to join the network and will receive additional information and dates for the required training sessions.

Wildlife Jewels® EYES™ Volunteer Application – Acknowledgment & Agreement

Before submitting your application, please review and acknowledge the following:

Participation & Conduct
- I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee selection or placement as a Wildlife Jewels® volunteer.
- If accepted, I will participate as a non-paid volunteer in the Wildlife Jewels® EYES™ Collective, focused on observing and documenting coastal and marine wildlife.
- I understand this is an observation-only role. Volunteers do not approach, handle, or attempt to rescue wildlife.
- I agree to follow all safety guidelines, remain within my physical capabilities, and act responsibly while participating in Wildlife Jewels® activities.
Assumption of Risk
- I acknowledge that participation in outdoor activities may involve inherent risks, including uneven terrain, weather exposure, and the presence of wildlife or debris.
- If accepted, I agree to assume these risks and will exercise caution and sound judgment during volunteer activities.
Liability & Release
- I understand that Wildlife Jewels® will not be held responsible for any injury, illness, or property damage that may occur during participation in volunteer activities.
- I agree that I will be required to review and sign a full Volunteer Waiver of Liability before participating in any on-site activities or shifts.
Media & Communications Consent
- I grant permission to Wildlife Jewels® to use photographs, videos, or written content I voluntarily share for educational, advocacy, or promotional purposes.
- I agree to receive Wildlife Jewels® emails and updates about programs, events, and volunteer opportunities. (You may unsubscribe at any time.)
