The ACL - RSI is a 12 item questionnaire that measures an athletes psychological readiness to return to sports after an ACL injury or reconstruction. How to Calculate a Score: Complete the Questionnaire: The athlete answers the 12 questions on the ACL-RSI, each using a 0-100 scale.  Sum the Item Scores: Add up the scores for all 12 questions.  Calculate the Total Score: Divide the total sum by 12 to get the final ACL-RSI score, which will be a number between 0 and 100.  Interpreting the Score: Higher Scores (0-100): Indicate a greater level of psychological readiness to return to sports, meaning the athlete feels more confident and less fearful of re-injury.  Lower Scores: Suggest that the athlete is experiencing more negative emotions or a higher fear of risk, which may hinder their return to sport.
