    Ceramic Arts Queensland’s annual showcase of members’ work, celebrating the creativity, skill, and diversity within our ceramic community. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity for artists to present their work to a wider audience and be part of a professionally curated show. All current financial members of CAQ are warmly invited to submit entries for consideration.

  • Opening Night Celebrations 14th November 6pm

    This year, our CAQ End-of-Year Celebration will be held on the opening night of the 'ELEMENTAL' exhibition. Join us for an evening of celebration as we launch the showcase, connect with fellow members, and reflect on another fantastic year in clay. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the exhibition, meet the artists, and celebrate our vibrant ceramic community together.
  • TERMS & CONDITIONS 

    • Entries close on 6th November
    • Entries must be submitted via this online form.
    • Entry is free. 
    • Entry open to all financial CAQ members and 2 members from any CAQ Group Membership. 
    • Members may enter up to 10 works which must consist of a minimum 70% ceramic material. 
    • Entries may have multiple elements (sold as one item), but all entries must fit within an area 1m x 1m x 1.5m and be within the weight limit of <50kg/item. 
    • Selling price on entry form must include a commission of 35%. 
    • A "Statement by Supplier" form (which confirms status as a hobbyist) OR an Australian Business Number (ABN) must be provided. 
    • Exhibitors will assist CAQ in staffing the exhibition by providing 3 hours of time to the morning or afternoon roster, Monday to Saturday, and assist with plinth painting, set-up, opening, and clean-up as required. 
    • Placement of work will be at the discretion of the Exhibition Co-ordinator. 
    • Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. CAQ will take all care in handling and exhibiting works, but will accept no liability for loss or damage of works while exhibited or in transit. 
    • Artists who sold work during the exhibition will be paid to their bank account (as supplied) within 2-3 weeks of the close of the exhibition.  
  • ARTWORK DELIVERY & COLLECTION
    - Delivery Date:  Thursday 13 Nov, 8:30am–12pm at BIA
    - Collection Date: Wednesday 26 Nov, 10am–4pm
    - Unsold work must be collected on this date unless pre-arranged
    - Each piece must be labelled with artist name, title, medium, price

    Up to 10 pieces may be entered. *The code represents the artist and the item number. The first three letters are your initials and the numbers are the item. For example, if Jane Ann Doe wanted to sell 3 vases the codes would be JAD01, JAD02, JAD03. **The commission is 35%
