The Jennifer Bloy Award
A new Patron Award, sponsored by designer and GC&DC member Jennifer Bloy, aims to champion young designers (aged up to 30) who show promise in traditional hand-rendered 2D design. All eligible 2D entries submitted through the online application will automatically be considered, regardless of other awards won.
A specialist panel— including Jennifer—will look for entrants with talent, enthusiasm, and clear potential to grow through further skills training.
The winner will receive a tailored opportunity, such as work experience with a professional designer, a materials grant/voucher, or a combination of both.
Entries must be predominantly hand-rendered: CAD or printing is allowed only for presentation elements like lettering. The core artwork and technical drawings must be original and hand-done (no prints or photocopies). Layout and mounting will also be taken into account.
