Al-Thawabet al-Wataniyya, or the ‘national constants’ are the fundamental principles of Palestinian liberation. The Thawabet represent the absolute demands of the Palestinian people, on which there can be NO compromise. 1. Palestine is indivisible. 2. The right to self-determination. 3. Jerusalem as the capital. 4. The right to resist. 5. The right of return. Following the lead of the Palestinian people, what our organisation stands for and what it does is rooted in the Thawabet, for we recognise that it is for Palestinians alone to determine their future.
