Participation in IBA's Volunteer Committees is a great way to get involved in the industry. You have the opportunity to learn about issues, develop member resources, join advocacy efforts, and collaborate with like-minded professionals.
Committee members must be able to attend regular meetings (and any subteam or task force meetings as needed) and are expected to contribute to deliverables outlined by Committee Chairs.
Although IBA Committee members are volunteers, they must abide by a professional code of conduct, avoid conflicts of interest, and follow anti-trust guidelines.
Applicants with IBA Memberships are preferred but not required. As there is limited availability on each committee, IBA cannot guarantee that all applicants will be accepted.
We are excited to hear from you -- show us what you will bring to IBA's Committees and the Association!
