    Fill in the application below to volunteer to the 2026 conference. Volunteers will be invited on a rolling basis.
  • Volunteering at the CCHT Conference is a great way to join the conference and stay connected to the anti-trafficking field.

    The deadline for volunteer applications is July 30th, 2026 or until all spots are filled. Volunteer applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

    Volunteer Perks

    • During unassigned times, volunteers are granted unlimited access to Conference programming.
    • Complimentary registration to the Conferencce for the day(s) in which the worker picked shifts. (for example: If only working the Day 1 shift, volunteers would be responsible for half of the registration fee in order to have access to day 2 programing).

     

    Responsibilities & Additional Information

    Complimentary registration for volunteers is contingent upon the volunteer meeting all expectations outlined below, and it may be revoked at any time if the volunteer is unable to fulfill these expectations.

     

    Time Commitment

    All volunteers are expected to perform between 7-10 hours of service during the Conference. Upon being invited to volunteer for this year’s Conference, volunteers will be assigned to shifts throughout the Conference programming. If conflicts arise that will prevent a volunteer from meeting their minimum requirement of hours, the volunteer may be asked to withdraw their application. Volunteers are asked to communicate all schedule changes that deviate from their applications to task force coordinator as such changes arise. 

  • Volunteer Eligibility

    Volunteers for the CCHT Conference must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:

    1. Enrolled as either a full-time or part-time student at a post-secondary institution, as either a graduate or undergraduate studying social work or other applicable social service fields.
    2. Currently working as an intern, apprentice or fellow (paid or volunteer) for a fixed term, with a Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force partner organization.
    3. Not currently employed in the anti-trafficking sector but actively involved or seeking employment in this sector.
    4. Employed either part-time or full-time in the anti-trafficking sector at an organization that lacks funding to cover conference registration fees
