  • REHEARSALS:

    have a a typical run time of 8-9 weeks. Actors will attend a 2 hour rehearsal once a week during this run time. Adult/Teen Rehearsal time depends on cast (see calendar for details):

    • Tuesdays: 6-9:30 PM (Adult Cast 1 & 2)
    • Thursday: 6-9:30 PM (Adult/Teen Cast 3 & Teen Cast 1)

    Sometimes, if necessary, actors will be asked to come a little early or stay a little later. Extra Rehearsals on a Saturday may be added at times for various casts. (Doors open 15 min. before the start of rehearsal)

    DRESS REHEARSALS are typically the week leading up to performances, 3-3 1/2 hours long. You must attend dress rehearsal for each cast you are in.

    PERFORMANCES include 2-3 per cast shows & are at the end of the 8-9 week rehearsal run

    AUDITION INFORMATION:

    • Actor will learn a song at auditions. At auditions be prepared to sing the song and do a cold read of lines.
    • Every actor will be cast (no callbacks, no cuts)
    • Headshots are NOT required

    TUITION: Payment is due at audtions. Be prepared to pay at auditions or show proof fo payment at audtions.

    • Kids/Teens (Age 6-17) $350 ($360 if paying with Card)
    • Adult $150 ($155 if paying with Card)
    • Fee covers paricipation in one or multiple casts including adult, teen, and kid/teen casts.

  • Actor Bio:

    An actor bio is required to ensure the actor is listed in the program. If you do not provide a bio now, we will include only the actor name/role in the program.

    Sample:

    Lizzie Lambert is 11 years old, born in the UK and moved to Orange County 6 months ago. She is a keen and enthusiastic performer and has already played many major roles including Danny in Grease, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Mrs Trunchbull in Matilda and is now delighted to be cast in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory This is her second performance with Starlight and she has enjoyed every single minute of it, in fact it's the best part of her day!

  • As a reminder, tuition is as follows:

    • Kids/Teens (Age 6-17) $350
    • Adult $150

    Each additional kid/teen sibling will get a $20 discount on tuition (so the 2nd child will be $330 as an example).

    IMPORTANT: if paying tuition by card/Square a card processing fee will be applied. $10 for Kid/Teen tuition and $5 for Adult tuition.
