About the Roundtree Group-Talking Tadpoles NBASLH Student Convention Award: 

The Roundtree Group-Talking Tadpoles Pediatric Therapy NBASLH Student Convention Award is sponspored by two practices in Texas founded by Jerrold Jackson and Juli Iracheta, repectively. This $500 award is designed to support a student who identifies as Black or African American with attending the 2026 National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH) Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.

The award will cover the recipient's convention registration and provide partial travel assistance.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLP, AuD, etc.).
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must identify as Black or African American.
• Must attend the 2026 NBASLH Convention in-person.
• Must submit a short video (less than 2 minutes) or essay (200-250 words) on what it means to be a culturally responsive practitioner and why it is important to you.

6.     I hereby certify that all of the information I have provided within the entire application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if any information submitted with the application is determined to be false or mislead­ing (including any omission of material information), I will be disqualified from consideration for the award.

Finally, I give consent to allow Roundtree Group, PLLC and Talking Tadpoles Pediatric Therapy, LLC use my photograph (or other likeness), video, or statements for publicity purposes, which may include, but is not limited to, publication in newsletters, brochures, social media platforms, and the Roundtree Group and Talking Tadpoles websites.
