Didsbury Double Registration

This is a KCBS Master Series contest. Meats are NOT included. With a qualifying KCBS competition, teams have a chance at winning a shot at going to the American Royal or to win a bung for the Jack Daniels world championships draw. We will have water, charcoal bins, flush toilets and some limited power provided. (Larger trailer units and late registration may have to supply their own power).  All teams must adhere to the KCBS rules and appropriate controls that the event organizers may implement.  This contest will be held at the Didsbury AG Society Exhibition Grounds (North West of Didsbury) on July 25-26, 2026.  Schedules to follow.

This is a double header contest.  Teams in for the double header will be given priority for registration.  

The double header will be Saturday Day 1 and Sunday Day 2.  Early bird is only available to teams that are doing the double and is available until March 30, 2026.  The price for early bird double is $650, regular price is $750.  If we still have room for teams April 1, 2026 we will take teams that just want to do the Sunday contest for $400.

Hard Cap of teams at 36. 

Waiver of Liability and General Release

I understand that the Didsbury Lions BBQ contest is a day and nighttime outdoor events; that the ground cover and lighting are uneven; that there are many people, temporary facilities, stationary and moving equipment on the grounds as well as other potential hazards.

In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to
be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, my team, executors and
administrators, waive and release all rights and claims for any and all damages I or my team may have against the Didsbury Lions, Didsbury AG Society, its directors, representatives, sucessors, employees, contractors, guests and fellow volunteers. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the KCBS and of the Didsbury Lions BBQ contest. I grant full permission to the event organizers and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, recording or any other record of the event for any legitimate purpose.

Didsbury Lions has adopted a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards teams that abuse organizers, reps, judges or other teams.  Don't expect to be allowed to return next year if you act inappropriately towards others.  Remain professional and win or loose be kind towards others.  Lets keep BBQ fun!

Your registration is not considered final until you etransfer payment to activity@didsburylions.ca (No password required).  Please include your team name in the notes of the eTransfer.  No refunds given after June 1.  Teams will be accepted in the order that the registrations and payments are received.

This event is being held at the Didsbury AG Society Exhibition grounds.   Teams will have to depart no later than Sunday 7pm unless special arrangements are made ahead of time.
