Background:

Measure T Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC) members provide oversight to ensure that funds are spent in accordance with the ballot measure and Truckee Fire Protection District Board Resolution 02-2021.

The Truckee Fire Protection District Board of Directors is seeking applications from community members, property owners, residents or registered voters within the District. The Board seeks individuals with varied backgrounds to review Measure T expenditures and accomplishments and report to the Board on whether funds have been spent consistently with the measure. The COC reviews Measure T spending annually following the District’s financial audit each fall.

Employees of Nevada County, Placer County, Town of Truckee, and their dependents are ineligible to serve.
