By registering for this sports tournament, the participant (or their parent, legal guardian, or custodian in the case of minors) acknowledges and accepts that they are participating voluntarily and at their own risk. Marlin's Pickleball Club and its Board of Directors are exempt from any civil or criminal liability for any injury, accident, loss, damage, or incident occurring before, during, or after the event. The participant declares that they are aware of and accept the terms and conditions, as well as the rules established by the Club for the tournament. We reserve the right of admission. Any inappropriate, violent, disrespectful, or otherwise unacceptable behavior contrary to the tournament rules may result in immediate removal from the event at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors, with no right to a refund of the registration fee or any other payments made. By completing the registration, the participant expressly waives the right to bring any claim of any kind against the Club and its representatives, in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, including Act No. 8-1987, as amended, regarding Immunity in Sports and Recreational Activities.
