KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Lead the team in implementing and expanding Save the Children’s “Play to Strive” football programs, including school-based and community initiatives.

Develop innovative strategies for school curriculum development, school partnerships, and public mobilization to promote children’s mental well-being, protection, and parental support.

Guide the team in designing and expanding school-based programs to strengthen Save the Children’s presence and influence in the education sector.

Develop effective marketing and fundraising strategies for schools, fostering synergy between education and community programs, fundraising campaigns, and public engagement to generate income and cultivate a positive supporter experience.

Monitor the programme outcome and impact.

Lead the team to gauge external funding for supporting our work

Plan and coordinate grant support for partner organization to deliver school-based and community programs.

Oversee the operation and management of the Save the Children Center.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A recognized degree in psychology, child development, social work, education, or a related social science discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Programme Manager role.
- Proven experience in planning and implementing education programs focused on mental wellness, children’s rights, and parenting. Prior school networking experience is an advantage.
- Experience working with children, youth, and parents in community settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in all aspects of program cycle management, including design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance work efficiency is desirable.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong alignment with Save the Children’s vision and mission.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a 2-year contract position. Contract renewal is subject to organizational needs and performance.
