KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
“Play to Thrive” School and Community Football Programs:
- Plan, organize and execute program activities, including training for children and parents, football tournaments, mental health festivals, and other child-centered initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery and achievement of program goals and KPIs.
- Prepare evaluations and reports to measure program outcomes and impacts.
- Maintain close communication and coordination with stakeholders, including children, parents, coaches, school teachers, partners, and volunteers.
- Manage program content, production, and budgets.
- Serve as a host and/or facilitator for program activities and events.
Develop new educational programs promoting students’ mental wellness:
- Develop, deliver and promote mental wellness educational programs, workshops, campaigns, materials for various stakeholders, including schools, parent-child, children and public (i.e. Wide-Life-Learning programme for schools, parent-child initiatives etc.)
- Implement interactive educational programs for underprivileged groups, schools, parent-child, children and youth, corporate partners.
- Build networks with schools, NGOs, community groups and other stakeholders to develop innovative education programmes.
- Support development of new initiatives, curricula, and learning materials, incorporating digital and innovative elements.
Shared duties:
- Plan and develop marketing strategies and materials, including media engagement, website updates, and social media campaigns.
- Support communication about the work impacts to external stakeholders including public, corporate and foundations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in education, children’s or sports training, community services, counselling, or related fields.
- Less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer level
- Knowledge of sports, particularly football, is preferred.
- Experience in project management, children and youth training, or event management is an advantage.
- Organized, systematic, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive attitude, enthusiasm, high motivation, and an outgoing personality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently, multitask, meet tight deadlines, and contribute effectively as a team player.
- Understand of the formal education system with experience in education programme.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Skilled in computer applications, including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Proficiency in AI tools to enhance work efficiency and design/editing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Canva, video editing tools) is highly desirable.
- Willing to work outdoors and on weekends or public holidays as required.
- Strong alignment with Save the Children’s mission and vision is essential.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a 2-year contract position. Contract renewal is subject to organizational needs and performance.
