  • 1. School fees are published annually on the school’s official website and form an integral part of this contract.

A discount of 5% is applicable on school fees paid in full by the end of January of each school year.

School  fees are subject to annual adjustments.

    2.   School fees are payable over eleven months. Should a learner be admitted after February, school fees will also be levied for December.

    3.   A non-interest bearing deposit of R10 000(Ten Thousand Rand) is payable on acceptance.

    4.    A learner will not be permitted to attend school until the full deposit has been received.

    5.   A written notice of one full term is necessary. If the parent fails to fulfil this obligation, the full fees for the remaining term will be levied, and the deposit will be forfeited.

    6.   The deposit is fully refundable on condition that the account has been settled in full, subject to the provisions of paragraph 5.

    7.   Accounts are billed on the 25th of each month and must be paid in full by the 7th of the following month. Interest will accrue at 2% per month on overdue accounts.

    8.   New applications:

    • A registration fee of R400(Four Hundred Rand) for the primary school is payable when application forms are submitted online.
    • R2 000 of the deposit is immediately payable upon acceptance to Midstream Ridge College (Pty) Ltd. Should the learner for any reason not join Midstream Ridge College (Pty) Ltd the R2 000 will be forfeited.
    • The balance of the deposit (R8 000) is payable before 31 August (year preceding entry) or as stipulated in the acceptance letter to secure the position offered.
    • If, however, the application is withdrawn before 1 October (the year preceding entry), R4 500 of the deposit will be refunded.
    • If the application is withdrawn after this date (1 October), the full deposit will be forfeited.

    9. Any payments made towards the account will be applied first to the oldest outstanding charges, including interest and collection costs.

    10. The school reserves the right to deny admission or suspend a learner from attending classes until all overdue fees are paid in full.

    11.     The school may take legal action to recover any outstanding fees and the person responsible for payment will be liable for all attorney and client costs and expenses  incurred by the school.

    12.     The school may also report any outstanding fees to credit agencies, which may affect the person's credit score and ability to obtain credit in the future.

    13.    It is important to note that any learner linked to the debtor — regardless of whether that learner’s individual account is in arrears — may be precluded from attending school until all outstanding amounts owed by the debtor to Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College have been fully settled. The debtor hereby agrees to the consolidation of all amounts owing to either school, past or present, into a single consolidated obligation for settlement purposes. For the purposes of this clause, “learners linked to the debtor” refers to all learners for whom the debtor holds, or has previously held, financial responsibility at either Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College.

    14. The debtor agrees that where the debtor is responsible for more than one account, Midstream College or Midstream Ridge College shall have full discretion to reallocate any payment received from the debtor to any overdue account or portion thereof, as deemed necessary and appropriate by the school, in order to manage and reduce outstanding debt effectively.

    15.     By signing this agreement, the debtor consents to the school conducting a credit inquiry with a credit bureau in South Africa.

    16. Duration of Agreement
This financial agreement and the terms and conditions contained herein shall remain in full force and effect for the entire duration of the learner’s enrolment at the School. These terms will continue to apply from year to year for as long as the learner remains registered, unless amended in writing by the School. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and accepts that this agreement is binding for the full period of the learner’s schooling at the School.

By signing, the undersigned accepts the above terms and conditions.
