join The Gatherings Mentoring Networking Outreach Group in spreading holiday joy! Each year, we serve children and families across Jefferson County by providing gifts, food, and essentials for the holidays. You can make a difference by adopting a child or family this season.
You can support by adopting a child or family, becoming a community sponsor, donating in-kind items, or serving as a drop-off location. Every act of giving makes a difference.
Important Dates:
• Student & family selection: October 20 – November 14, 2025
• Donation & collection window: November 3 – December 1, 2025
• All gifts and contributions due: December 5, 2025
- Adopt a Child: $165 per child
- Adopt a Family: $550 per family
- Adoption period: Now until November 30, 2025
- All donations due by: December 5, 2025
🎁 Items We’re Collecting (Boys and Girls, Ages 0 months-18 years old)
- New, unwrapped toys for children and teens
- Clothing (new or gently used): coats, hats, gloves, socks, pajamas, pampers, etc.
- Non-perishable food items: canned goods, cereal, oatmeal, grits, rice, beans, pasta, fruit snacks, box of chips, baby formula
- Quick meals and snacks: mac & cheese, microwave meals, granola bars, lunch meats (shelf-stable), peanut butter, jelly
- Household items: hygiene products, throws and blankets, comforter sets (boys and girls) and household and cleaning supplies.
Every contribution helps ensure that no family goes without love, warmth, or support this season.
