Excellence in Collaboration Award Nomination Form

The Excellence in Collaboration Award recognizes the collaborative efforts of a service team or cross-unit committee in providing rich Girl Scout programming, using the Girl Scout processes in planning, design, and delivery of that programming. If approved, the award will be presented to all of the listed team members at the GSME Annual Celebration in the spring.

Responses added at this time will be considered in February 2026.

Criteria for Selection-That you are submitting this nomination with agreement of at least one staff member and at least one volunteer indicates your team has met these criteria.*

All team or committee members are registered adult Girl Scouts.
All team or committee members have completed appropriate training, demonstrated competence, or both, for the positions they held.
The team or committee members are committed to collaboration by investing in robust team building, sharing responsibilities, and clear continuous communication.
The team or Committee submits required reports and other communication on time.
The team or committee maintains ongoing communication with each other as well as each troop or group and with leaders, utilizing a variety of methods-meetings, email, social media, phone-to serve the needs of area adults.
The team or committee maintains ongoing communication with Juliettes (individually registered girls) in the area.
Delivery of Girl Scout program to the area or audience is creative and engaging, resulting Girl Scouts' interest and positive experiences.
Team or committee members cultivate contacts in the community to support the rich programming.
The composition of the team reflects the diversity of the area or audience, actively inviting participation on the team/committee.
The team or committee models the principles embodied in the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
The team or committee supports the Girl Scout mission and commitment to the statement, "Build Girls of Courage, Confidence, and Character who Make the World a Better Place."
