Bulls and Steers - February 6-8, 2026
This three day event is brought to you by the Canadian Junior Cowboys Association.

Event: Steers and Bulls .

Ages: 6-18

Location: Midnight Stadium, Ft.Macleod, AB.

Date: February 6-8, 2026

Start time Friday Feb 6, 2026: 9:00 am. We will continue to ride until the group calls it quits each day. They can (and are encouraged) to get on as many head as they would like each day.

30 spots available.

Coaches: William Barrows, Blake Smith, Lonnie Phillips, and Wyatt Laughlin

The CJCA will have the weekend catered.

Waivers: Must be signed by parent or legal guardian at check in or you will not be allowed to ride.

Each participant must have a parent or guardian present at the clinic.

Cost: $500/ participant.

$250 must be paid to secure your spot. Remainder due by 6pm on January 30, 2026. No refunds available, all proceeds not used for costs of the clinic are put back into prizes and jackpot winnings for day 3. Only 30 spots. All payments to be made by etransfer to info.juniorrodeo@gmail.com Registration is first come first serve.

  Participants must have all the mandatory equipment. There is no loaner equipment available. (Helmet, vest, appropriately fitting cowboy boots, spurs, glove, rope at minimum). The CJCA reserves the right to do equipment checks at the clinic.

All levels welcome, however it is important to be honest choosing your ability level on your entry form as the stock provided will be determined by what is indicated on your form! If you indicate "Pro level" it will definitely buck hard! The coaches will evaluate and adjust to levels each day. Day 3 includes a jackpot for clinic participants. Riders will be entered in their age/weight class with the option to roll up.

Days will start at 9:00 am on Friday and go "until we're done." Times will vary to accommodate as many rides and coaching time as possible ! Be prepared for long days!

Sports medicine and EMS will be available at this clinic. Any costs related to injuries incurred are the responsibility of the participant (or guardian).

CJCA memberships are open for the 2026 rodeo season. There will be a bulls and steers series for the 2026 season for the Alberta south region. Take advantage of membership entry fee pricing! Membership forms can be found on our app. Membership not required for this clinic.
