We’re excited to bring Christmas joy to over 1,200 households this year, and we can’t do it without your help!

📍 Location: The Mustard Seed Street Church — 625 Queens Ave, Victoria, BC V8T 1L9

Family Day: Saturday, December 13th, from 8:30 am- 5:00pm 

Singles, Couples, and Multi-Adult Families: Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16th & 17th from 8:00 am- 5:00pm  

Please note that all volunteer roles involve standing for extended periods, walking, and occasionally lifting objects weighing 15 pounds or more.

Due to the nature of the populations we serve, all volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

Family Day Shopping Buddy: December Saturday 13th.

Shopping Buddy Volunteers assist families as they navigate the event, helping them gather their Christmas supplies with ease and joy. They provide a warm welcome, offer guidance through the shopping process, and ensure each family feels supported and cared for during their visit.

Singles, Couples, and Multi-Adult Families: Shopping Buddy: Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16th & 17th from 8:00 am- 5:00pm

Shopping Buddy Volunteers assist guests as they navigate the event, helping them gather their Christmas supplies with ease and joy. They provide a warm welcome, offer guidance through the shopping process, and ensure each family feels supported and cared for during their visit.

Family Day Market Services  Saturday, December 13th

Market Service Volunteers help ensure that shelves within the service area are well-stocked and maintained, while offering friendly and respectful assistance to guests as they select goods according to their needs. This role involves clear and patient communication with guests to create a smooth and welcoming experience for all.

Singles, Couples, and Multi-Adult Families: Market Services: Tuesday and Wednesday, December 16th & 17th from 8:00 am- 5:00pm

Market Service Volunteers help ensure that shelves within the service area are well-stocked and maintained, while offering friendly and respectful assistance to guests as they select goods according to their needs. Greeting Volunteers play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests as they arrive. Working in pairs, greeters ensure that each guest feels acknowledged, guided, and supported from the moment they walk through the door.

They monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and maintain a tidy, welcoming space. This role may also assist in the market service area when extra support is needed
