• Ujima Bazaar: Definition for Small Business

The Ujima Bazaar is a community-centered market and showcase designed to uplift and support Black- and Brown-owned small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives through collaboration, networking, and collective growth.Rooted in the Kwanzaa principle of Ujima meaning “Collective Work and Responsibility,” the bazaar emphasizes working together to build and maintain our communities by supporting one another’s ventures. This year's Bazaar will be held on Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm, inside the Epic Center. We will utilize both our gallery space (inside the Black Arts And Culture Center) and the Epic Center's first floor.  The Bazaar is a celebration of culture and black owned businesses. This is an opportunity to showcase your business or talent. We welcome the community to shop and enjoy performances. One 6ft long table and two chairs is included in your vendor fee of $50.00. Vendors keep 100% of the proceeds made from their sales and stipends will be given to performers. Registration closes Friday November 20, 2025.
