At Girls Empowerment Network we strive to inspire girls to think creatively and critically about their futures by giving them a glimpse into the working world.
That's where you come in! We are looking for dynamic and engaging professionals to participate in Power Chats the week of March 2-6. When you register, you’ll have the ability to choose the date and time that work best for you to participate in Power Chats.
What exactly are Power Chats? They’re a structured discussion activity which allows youth and adult volunteers to connect in smaller groups, ask questions, talk about their interests, and share career insight. Girls get the chance to ask questions such as: what's your career?; what makes you feel confident?; what does leadership mean to you?; what insight would you share with your 6th grade self?; and what makes you feel powerful?
After you register using this form, we’ll reach out one week prior to your selected Power Chats date to e-introduce you to the Girls Empowerment Network staff member leading Power Chats. You'll also receive detailed location information and a Power Chats training handout reviewing what to expect and best practices for engaging with girls. Registration will close on Monday, February 23 at 9AM.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your commitment to igniting the power in girls!
