There are several areas you can help out in:

Track Set Up/ Venue Set Up (2 hours)

Track Set Up / Venue tear down (2 hours)

Hospitality: Raffles,Ensure / monitor officials area, VIP Room, EMT's and Announcers - food is fresh, served, no spills etc....

Front Check In: process same day registraton, ensure players have badges and sign event waivers

Bout Table: Monitor sign ups and cut off times for scrimmages , run copies to Rink Monitor and announcers

Rink Monitors: Check in players on track and check in players, turn away those not registered- monitor retaping of track, people present on track have wristband or badge

Conduct: Because of the dangers of participation in roller derby, I recognize the importance of instruction given regarding playing techniques. training, rules of the sport, or to the team rules, and to obey these Instructions. I will not participate in any Prison City Roller Derby practice or competition under the influence of legal drugs or alcohol. If I am prescribed medication by a certified medical physician which may impair my judgment or affect my ability to participate in strenuous activity, I will seek medical consultation about my ability to participate in athletic activities, inform the trainers and team coordinators of the Prison City Roller Derby of my medical condition, and opt not to participate III believe there are risks to my heath or the safety of others. / accept responsibility for purchasing and maintaining required safety equipment Spectators (patrons on the premises as a result of your involvement in the roller derby) as well as participants must behave in a respectful manner to both person and properly. Behavior which could potentially lead to Intentional or unintentional bodily injury or injury to property will not be tolerated.

At promotional public appearances, bouts and PCRD sponsoredevents, all PCRD skaters must be accountable for their own actions. Any violation of these rules will leave a skater subject to Disciplinary Actions. When on skates, full skating gear is required for ALL members. Remember that we are promoting our sport and setting an example.(Helmets may become optional as necessary but only with permission from theowners/captains)Skaters should dress appropriately and family friendly. (Each event may have separate dresscode requirements – to be determined by owners/coaching prior to the event and announced at practice. There will be NO DRINKING ON SKATES at any event. Skaters must remove skates before drinking. Skaters may not be intoxicated/under the influence at events. Smoke only in designated areas, not in a booth or crowded areas (includes vaping). Requests for formal interviews or public appearances must begiven to the board so that they may be reviewed before committing the team to afuture engagement. Skaters are required to act respectfully with each other, oursponsors and our general audience. During skating and sanctioned events, wehave good –natured fun, show good sportsmanship and do not intend to offend.
