    Oak Tree View will arrange routine veterinary, farrier and dental care as requested by the owner or nominated trainer.
    In the event of illness, injury or emergency where the owner or trainer cannot be contacted in a timely manner, Oak Tree View is authorised to act in the best interests of the horse, including engaging appropriate professionals. All veterinary, farrier, dental and emergency-related costs remain the responsibility of the owner or trainer.

  • Payment & Deposit Information
    A two (2) week advance payment is required to hold your position after your agistment has been approved.
    You can choose to pay by card or request an invoice once approval is confirmed.
    No payment will be processed until your agistment is approved.

  • Trainer Authority & Instructions

  • Oak Tree View Code of Conduct

    • Safety first: helmets & boots when riding/handling horses
    • Biosecurity: disclose illness, follow worming/FEC protocols
    • Gates/fences: leave as found, report damage
    • Use arenas/round yards courteously, lights only for emergencies
    • Clean up all manure/tie areas after use
    • Dogs/children must be controlled and supervised
    • Use designated parking areas; drive slowly
    • Be courteous and follow staff directions

  • Horse Rider Indemnity & Acknowledgement of Risk

    I understand horse activities involve inherent risks including serious injury or death.
    I agree to ride and handle horses at my own risk, follow OTV staff directions, and wear an approved helmet when mounted.
    I indemnify Oak Tree View, its owners, and staff from any claim except where caused by OTV’s negligence.
    I consent to first aid and emergency medical treatment if required.

  • Abandonment Clause


    Accounts are due on invoice. If unpaid for 21 days, Oak Tree View may suspend services and issue a Notice to Collect & Pay.
    If horses are not collected or paid for within 60 days of that notice, OTV may rehome or sell the horse.
    Reasonable costs (care, advertising, sale, transport, admin) will be deducted from proceeds; any surplus held for the owner.
    Any shortfall remains the owner’s liability.
    This clause does not limit any rights available to OTV under law.
