  • International Short Stay Program - Student Application Form

  • Please complete this form if you are interested in your child attending Trinity Anglican School for a short stay study abroad experience. The International Short Stay Program is designed for students aged between 13-17 years old, enrolled for a minimum of 4 weeks and maximum of 10 weeks study. Students join mainstream classes and are fully immersed in the Australian school experience. This program requires a visitor visa and privately arranged welfare and accommodation.

    The minimum enrolment in the TAS short stay program is 4 school weeks, and the maximum is 10 weeks (one term). This study period allows time to for students to improve English language skills, make friends and become familiar with life in Australia. Please ensure visitor visa dates cover the study period.

  • Welfare and Accommodation

    The school has a duty of care to all enrolled students to provide a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment. However, parents/legal guardians remain responsible for their child's support, accommodation and general welfare. They must arrange who will look after their child and where they will stay. Some families use an education agent to help make these arrangements or provide additional local support.

  • Academic Ability

    Students are expected to try their best in the mainstream study program and will be allocated to elective subjects that best suit their interests and English abilities. Please note students will not receive individual marks on their work or an academic report but will receive a certificate to acknowledge their participation in the TAS Short Stay International Program.

    Students will require sufficient English to fully participate in mainstream classes and communicate in settings outside of school. Intermediate English Language skills, such as an EIKEN 2 level, are suitable. TAS informally assesses a student's English language skills based on the information provided in this application and interview (if offered).

    To ensure your child's safety, it is essential that you inform the school of any medical conditions, including known allergies before enrolment. If any information changes to an existing condition or you become aware of newly diagnosed conditions, you should contact the school as soon as possible.

  • Confirmation of enrolment
    Any offer of enrolment will be subject to TAS issuing a place offer email notification and invoice for payment of fees in advance. Following an offer, a place is secured upon payment of school fees in advance as per the invoice details.

    Fees and Charges
    Other expenses (e.g. optional activities) are billed as they arise.

    Enrolment Suspension or Cancellation
    TAS reserves the right to suspend or cancel a student’s enrolment where the student or their parent(s)/guardian(s) fail to comply with the TAS Code of Conduct or any other applicable School policies and procedures. The School expects students and their families to act in a manner that upholds its values, ethos, and behavioural standards.  The rights and remedies of the School in this regard are not affected or waived by any act of tolerance, delay or prior non-enforcement.

    Withdrawal of Enrolment
    Parents/guardians may withdrawn their child from the International Short Stay Program at any time by written notice to the Principal. Any fee refunds, pro-rata or otherwise, are at the Principal's sole discretion.

    Policy Amendments
    TAS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, including any fees and charges, from time to time in line with School policy.
