This training introduces the fundamentals of DBT for adolescents (ages 12+) and their caregivers. Participants will explore key strategies such as validation, dialectics, and behavioral chain analysis, along with the four core modules - emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness - plus adaptations for adolescents, including the Middle Path module. The facilitator will also highlight the role of case conceptualization and how to integrate chain analyses with biopsychosocial history to tailor skills to each client.
