  • The CANSSI Quebec Recruitment Scholarship (CQRS) is a competitive program that aims to attract talented individuals to pursue doctoral studies in statistical sciences at a CANSSI member university within the Province of Quebec.

    The CQRS provides a recruitment scholarship that supplements the standard funding resources provided by the supervisor and home university. Generally, the scholarship provides the sum of $7,000 per year for the first two years, subject to the conditions and exceptions described in this document.

    NOTE: Please submit this form by November 25, 2025.

    Recipients for the current round will be selected by January 30, 2026. Only those awarded a CANSSI Quebec Recruitment Scholarship will be contacted.
