2025/2026 High School Contest Day Registration

Contest Day will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Norwood High School!

The following contests offer a virtual submission option: Doug Ingalls Monologue Contest, Scene Partner Contest, Excellence in Technical Theater Contest.

The Musical Theater Contest does NOT have a virtual option.

Registration MUST be received by November 23, 2025. This deadline will not be extended.

You do not need to have your presentation ready by this date, but we must receive your registration form by this date.

Once registration has closed:

All students who have registered for IN-PERSON will be contacted by the Contest Chair with their session info.
All 12th graders entering the Doug Ingalls Monologue Contest must submit a headshot prior to Contest Day. Once you have registered, we will send you a form to upload your headshot.
All students who enter the Musical Theater Contest must submit a headshot. Once you have registered, we will send you a form to upload your headshot.
All students who have registered for VIRTUAL will be sent an ID Number and information with a link to instructions on how to record and upload their contest entry.

If you are entering any contest as a team - ALL team members MUST submit their own registration.

All contests are $15 per student per contest for Member Schools and $20 per student for Non-Member Schools. If you are not sure of your school's membership status, please email metg@metg.org.

If you are a student from a member school registering for one contest, it is $15. If you are registering for 2 contests, it is $30. Etc.
