We will use a deckle box to make hand-made art papers. Colorful paper can be made from recycled paper with bits and pieces of upcycled art papers and yarns or threads. Finished products can be framed, collaged into other art projects, or used as simple pamphlet book covers. This easy to learn technique will be geared to participants’ interests and abilities.

What you will learn/make: Participants will be able to make 4 to 5 pieces of 8 and 1/2” x 11” paper in this workshop. Other options include 5”x7” sizes as well.

While all supplies are provided you are more than welcome to bring any of the following to class: decorative paper, colorful yarns, threads if you want something particular.
