•Music Lessons charges are based on 30 lessons per year, delivered across the 4 school terms. Lessons in addition to these, will be charged to the Family Fee account.
•If the 30 lessons are not delivered during the school year, the remaining lessons will be credited back to the Family Fee account, at the end of Term 4.
•If your child needs Sheet Music, Technical Books, or additional Music Accessories (reeds, strings etc), they will be ordered through the Performing Arts Department and charged to your Family Fee account under ‘Music Expenses’.
•Students and Parents who wish to hire a school instrument will be required to agree to the terms of the Music Equipment Loan Request Form before instruments will be issued. There will also be an annual $300 hire fee for instruments hired from the school.
•Please note that in 2025, Music Lessons will not be available to students enrolled in Prep. Dance lessons will only be available to Prep students in Semester Two.
•If a student is absent from school through illness, a term-time holiday or they forget to attend their lesson, the normal lesson charges will apply. Charges will not apply if the student is on a school excursion or school related activity.
•If the teacher is absent and a replacement teacher is not available, the lesson will not be charged.
•While music lessons are open to the whole school, below are the recommendations for year levels on each instrument group.
