  • Thank you for your interest in joining the Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew, our pilot volunteer initiative supporting timely, responsible response for wildlife in need along the Southern California coast. Please complete this interest form. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected applicants will be invited to orientation and training, and will receive required onboarding documents prior to activation.

  • Volunteer Commitment

    Rescue Crew volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month of Search Scout beach monitoring, submit at least 4 Search Scout survey forms per month, and serve for a minimum of 6 months.

    • I understand that submitting this Interest Application does not guarantee selection, acceptance, or placement as a Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew volunteer.

    • I understand that submission of this Interest Application does not authorize me to represent Wildlife Jewels®, act on behalf of Wildlife Jewels®, or participate in wildlife rescue, wildlife handling, wildlife transport, or other Rescue Crew activities.

    • I understand that this Interest Application is not a volunteer agreement and does not establish a volunteer relationship with Wildlife Jewels®.

    • If selected, I understand that I may be required to attend orientation, complete required training, and sign the Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew Volunteer Agreement, liability waiver(s), and any role-specific acknowledgments before participating in Rescue Crew activities.

    • I understand that Wildlife Jewels® reserves the right to accept, decline, suspend, or remove volunteers at its discretion.
