Join Us for Members Night
An Evening to Mingle, Share, and Explore the Stars ✨
Dear Members,
It’s that time of year again — our annual Members Night is coming up on the 4th Saturday of November, and we’d love for you to join us at the observatory for an unforgettable evening (and morning!) dedicated to astronomy and the people who make it special: you.
This year, we’re going bigger than ever with an all-night star party — from sundown Saturday 28, 8:00pm to sunrise Sunday 29, 6:00am! Come for the evening, stay as late as you like, and enjoy the night sky with friends and fellow astronomers.
The night will feature short 10 to 15-minute member presentations on a wide range of topics: the story of a new telescope, the steps behind a beautiful astrophotography image, or a personal journey into astronomy. It’s a chance to share your passion and learn from others in a welcoming, informal setting.
But more than anything, Members Night is about mingling — a time to put the phones down, enjoy real conversations, and connect face-to-face with fellow astronomy enthusiasts. If the skies are clear, we’ll open up the telescopes for a night of stargazing.
We’ll provide coffee, tea, soda and water. It's Pot Luck so bring your favorite dinner dish, dessert or snack to share.
Together, we’ll make this a night of community, curiosity, and connection — a night to celebrate the stars above and the friendships we share below.
We look forward to seeing you at the observatory.
Clear Skies,
Event Coordinator's
