Shining Stars Recreational Carnival 2025

Our second Recreational Carnival this year is changing shape by combining our Term 4 skills testing and the Carnival in one exciting day!

This final skills testing day is important as it determines whether your child is ready to graduate to the next level for 2026. Please note that this will be the ONLY opportunity for final skills testing, and therefore we strongly advise EVERYONE’S attendance at the Carnival.

The Shining Stars Recreational Carnival will be held on Saturday 15th November and will include gymnasts in the following classes -

Girls Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum
Boys Bronze, Silver & Gold
Tramp Bronze, Silver & Gold

Our qualified coaches will review all the scores and invitations will be emailed out for graduating gymnasts. Gymnasts who don’t attend won’t be invited to move up for 2026 enrolments.

Nominations close Wednesday 5th November 2025

Please note due to the large number of participating gymnasts we will be holding a Rec Ready Carnival as part of Gymnastics Queensland for our Action Acrobats and Gym Mix Junior/Senior classes. It will be held on Sunday 16th November and nominations will be sent to those gymnasts.

Entry Cost: $45 per gymnast. Additional $25 per discipline if competing in more than 1 ie. Girls and Tramp. (Invoices will be sent after nomination has been received)

Draft Schedule: 2.00pm - 7.00pm (more specific times for each level will be given closer to the date)

Carnival Attire: Gymnasts can wear their usual class training attire ie. leotard, crop top and shorts, singlet etc. Please ensure no skirts or dresses are worn and that long hair is tied back neatly. No jewellery please.
