Parents have many options to find information on child development and parenting, but nothing can replace having a trusted person to talk to and ask questions. Healthy Families is a voluntary, free, parent-coaching service that is provided in the convenience of your home, starting either during pregnancy or the first 3 months of your child’s life. Family Support Specialists answer questions that you have and provide information without judgement at every stage in your child’s development. Your Family Support Specialist will partner with you to do fun activities with your child, achieve the goals you set, and connect your family with local community resources. Parents are offered weekly, every other week, or monthly support based on your child’s age and your family’s needs. You will have many difficult decisions to make as a parent, but saying “yes” to Healthy Families is the easiest decision you will make!
