By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree:

1.) I understand rodeo activities involve inherent risks of serious injury, illness, property damage, or death arising from contact with livestock, falls, equipment failure, animal behavior, weather and ground conditions, and actions of others. I knowingly assume all such risks.

2.) In consideration of being allowed to participate in any Northern Rodeo Alliance (“NRA”) event or activity, I release and forever discharge the NRA, host committees and societies, stock contractors, officials, volunteers, sponsors, venue owners, and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims and demands arising out of my participation, including those arising from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3.) I understand that the purchase of this membership provides eligibility for consideration to compete at the Northern Rodeo Alliance Finals. I acknowledge that nominated rodeos operate independently and may be governed by different associations, tours, or rulebooks separate from the Northern Rodeo Alliance. I understand that I am solely responsible for knowing and complying with the rules, membership requirements, and eligibility criteria of any rodeo association or tour in which I choose to participate. The Northern Rodeo Alliance does not govern, interpret, or enforce the rules of any other organization.

3.) I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) caused by or resulting from my acts or omissions.

4.) I consent to emergency medical care as deemed necessary and understand I am solely responsible for my own medical/dental insurance and expenses.
Rules, Conduct & Welfare. I will comply with the NRA Rule Book, Code of Ethics, event rules, and officials’ instructions, including humane handling and all safety policies (including alcohol/drug policies). I understand violations may result in disqualification or removal.

5.) I certify the information provided is true and complete, and that I am physically able to participate.

6.) I grant the NRA and its designees the right to use my name, image, voice, and likeness in any media for news, promotion, and commercial purposes, without compensation, in perpetuity.

7.) This declaration is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that province’s appropriate judicial district.

8.) I agree my electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
