The third round of the 2025/26 Newham Junior Grand Prix - a series of rapidplay chess tournaments for under 18s.

Timings

10.30am-2.30pm

Format

The tournament is a five-round accelerated Swiss with a time control of 15 minutes plus a five-second increment from the first move.

Alan Bright - tutor with Chess in Schools and Communities.

Rating

The results of all games are sent to the English Chess Federation for rating.

ECF membership

By entering, players and their responsible adults consent to photography for publicity purposes.

Tournament officials are not esponsible for players between games and under 12s must be accompanied by responsible adults at all times.

There will be a break between rounds three and four; players and adults might like to bring lunch.
