She has spent the past 15+ years immersed in the tongue, lip and buccal tie field and offers this course to release providers to elevate collaborative care and boost optimal short and long term outcomes.
Michelle has presented at many conferences and courses dedicated to tongue, lip and buccal ties, contributed a chapter to Richard Baxter's well read book 'Tongue Tied' and has developed several novel curriculums for newborn to precrawling infants related to optimal oral function and postural development.

2. Learner will identify mild, moderate and significant Cranial Nerve Dysfunction
3. Learner will identify 7 tissue properties to consider with every frenectomy
4. Learner will understand the concept of 'optimal timing of release' and list 5 readiness factors
5. Learner will identify 10 red flags / functional deficts that hinder frenectomy outcomes or when release is done without preparation
6. Learner will understand teamwork, collaboration and referrals that make a difference with babies
