Here are a few tips:
This is for the 1st Trimester - Projects and activities between 1/1/2026 - 4/31/2026
Assume that the reader knows nothing about the nominee, your chapter, projects, or community.
Provide DETAILS and NUMBERS.
For example:
BAD–Worked at the pancake breakfast
GOOD–Worked 4 hours in the kitchen flipping pancakes and helping to feed over 200 people at the pancake breakfast. When his kitchen shift was over, he mingled in the crowd and recruited 3 new members!
The well rounded Jaycee is the winning Jaycee (participation in Community Development, ID, Management and Membership – don’t forget District, Region, State, National, and International activities)
Submissions should contain EVERYTHING the person has done for that
period of time. Make sure you give a detailed explanation of the projects,
meetings, duties of the person.
Ask your DD and RD for feedback on your submissions
Some questions are not required, however they are all strongly encouraged. We are only able to award individuals based upon the information in the nomination form. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me or VP Jon or PM Casey
