Application Submission Guidance
If you would prefer to submit your application via phone call, video, or another method, please email us to discuss alternative arrangements.

Before submitting your application please ensure you meet all of the following essential criteria:
- You live in the United Kingdom.
- You have provided full details of your course provider.
- You are registered on the relevant training scheme (if applicable).
- You will donate £25 per day of the course.
- The Tom Furey Memorial Trust (TFMT) will pay the course fee up to a maximum of £500 in total.
- You have described your existing relevant experience.
- You have completed the form accurately and honestly.
Our Charitable Aim

“The advancement of education and training, for the public benefit, in the skills necessary for safe walking and mountaineering — in particular, but not exclusively, through the provision of grants to those experiencing financial hardship, enabling them to access training they could not otherwise afford.”

Your application will be assessed against this statement to determine eligibility for funding.

As funds are limited, only applications that clearly demonstrate how they meet this charitable aim will be successful.
