Class description: As we enter the darkest time of year, many people experience feelings of hopelessness, isolation, apathy, & seasonal depression. Our beloved plant friends are hibernating, our daylight is cut short, and family dynamics can make the holidays challenging to navigate. Flower essences can be an uplifting and accessible way to utilize the medicine of plants on an emotional and energetic level. In this class, we will explore what flower essences are, how they are made, and how they can be utilized as allies. We will discuss specific essences that shine during this time, helping fortify our boundaries and aiding us in finding our spark.
Instructor: Bonnie is a clinical herbalist, flower essence practitioner, and full spectrum doula. She practices on the land of the Ute, Arapaho, & Cheyenne out of Denver, CO. She believes that reclaiming our connection to plant medicine & our bodies is a profound act of resistance, and her work focuses on all aspects of reproductive health, with a particular passion for abortion, miscarriage, & birth. She brings herbalism, nutrition, & ritual together to provide a client-centered experience.
