Join us at Toronto's oldest mosque nestled within the High Park community for a morning of neighborly connection and delicious brunch. By all means, please feel free to bring along a friend or family member, Muslims and non-Muslims alike are welcome.
Our program will include the following activities:
- The Islamic Heritage Month Exibit showcasing the deeply rooted history of Muslim communities throughout Canada, highlighting key figures and moments up until today.
- A guided tour of Jami Mosque, a historical landmark of our city showcasing a rich history and architecture as a space shared by different faith congregations.
- Presentation and Open Q&A led by Shaykh Usman Qamar, a religious educator at ISNA Canada, Wijhah Innitiative, & Tamhid Institute.
- The ISNA Virtual Reality Experience, taking a trip through time to 7th century Arabia to witness the evolution of the city of Mecca through Islamic teachings.
- A Henna station for henna designs done by our henna artist.
