Are you interested in playing for a Tier 1 / Youth Premier League (YPL) team in 2026?
YPL at Taroona FC is for players who want to play, train and develop at the highest level for their age group, and can commit to training at least 2-3 times a week.
Who:
Any player wishing to play and train at a development level in the Youth Premier League competition (Tier 1) with Taroona FC in 2026
When:
Tuesday November 11th
Tuesday November 18th
6.15pm - 7.30pm U13/14 Girls and U13/14 Boys/Mixed
6.15pm - 7.30pm U15/16 Girls and U15/16 Boys/Mixed

We recommend you attend both sessions or if you cannot make trials, complete the form to let us know you are interested in playing in a Tier 1 team. Players who trial will have preference for selections.
Where:
UTAS Rugby Ground, Sandy Bay
What to wear/bring:
Boots, shinguards, training shorts and jersey, water bottle
If you dont already play at Taroona FC just wear a plain jersey
What to expect:
Our coaches will be there to welcome you, check you off the register and organise you into training groups.
They will run a short session that looks at skill, intensity, attitude, teamwork and general fitness.
Notification:
Based on coach assessments, players will be notified before the end of the year if they have been successful, and offered a position in one of our Tier 1 teams, with team training commencing on January 27th 2026.
Tier 2 / Social Teams:
For players who are not selected for a Tier 1 team this time, we will be holding team placement/grading sessions for For tier 2 and social teams commencing on February 3rd & 10th 2025.
