This year we are using jotform, a platform that allows easy design of customised, interactive forms, to collect your applications.

Your data will be collected by jotform, saved on jotform servers in Germany and then copied to a sharepoint (Microsoft) folder at the University of Edinburgh. We will use it for our selection process.

Once the selection process is over, we will delete the data on jotform and we will delete the copied data at University of Edinburgh shortly before the program begins as soon as we no longer need to retain it.

In order to be considered for the programme, you should be planning to continue your studies in mathematics next academic year, i.e., you could be continuing your undergraduate degree or have applied for an MSc in mathematics (even though you have not heard whether you have been admitted). In order to foster the community aspect of the preogramme, participants in Count Me In who are not based in Edinburgh are expected to stay in the accommodation we provide. The accommodation consists of shared apartments owned by the university, close to the centre of Edinburgh, with private bedrooms but a shared kitchen and bathroom. For this we deduct £900 from the stipend of £2200 (this number may change slightly, but in any case will be well below the market rate). Please let us know below if you are based in Edinburgh and do not need the accommodation; or if you have any requests concerning the accommodation, or do not want to stay in the accommodation - we will consider such requests on a case-by-case basis.
