Parent Code Of Conduct Agreement
  • Parent Code Of Conduct Agreement

This agreement outlines the expectations of behaviour from parents and spectators of junior players included in the Frankston Blues VJBL program.
  • At Frankston Blues, we value a positive, supportive, and respectful environment for all players, coaches, officials, and families.
We ask that all parents and guardians of junior players uphold the following standards of behaviour.

Basketball Victoria (BV) has developed the Codes of Conduct that stipulates the minimum accepted standards of behaviour for players, parents, spectators, coaches, officials and administrators. Breaches of these Codes can result in BV sanctioned tribunal hearings and suspensions.

All Frankston Blues Parents are required to read and agree to the Frankston Blues and BV Codes of conduct before the end of Grading Phase 1. The BV codes of Conduct are available to download from www.basketballvictoria.com.au

We ask that all parents and guardians of junior players uphold the following standards of behaviour:

    • Support your child by promoting fair play and good sportsmanship at all times.
    • Applaud good performance by all teams and players.
    • Never criticise your child, other players, coaches, or referees during games or training sessions.
    • Allow your child to listen to and be guided by others to help them expand their knowledge and skills.
    • Accept all referee decisions, they are doing their best, just like the players and coaches.
