1. Membership of the AFWHS is not guaranteed and is subject to committee approval. If membership is not granted, a full refund of fees will be made. The committee’s decision regarding membership is final.
2. Members must abide by the rules of the Constitution and the AFWHS Code of Conduct. Any members in breach of these rules or codes may have their membership terminated.
3. Any form of bullying or harassment, including disrespect for other members , gossip, disparagement, name calling, and any type of aggressive or demeaning behaviour is in breach of the Code of Conduct and any member found to be engaging in such conduct may have their membership terminated.
4. The Society takes a serious approach to equine welfare and all members must abide by the Code of Conduct. Concerns about members regarding equine welfare or care should be brought to the Committee for resolution. Any member found to be in breach of the Code of Conduct in relation to horse welfare may have their membership terminated.
8. Any termination of membership for any of the above reasons will follow a procedurally fair process by the Committee.
