Community Statement: I support the preservation of natural, unstructured wild spaces be included within Round Rock's Parks & Recreation Department Trails Master Plan. These areas give children, families, and the community opportunities to explore, learn, and connect with nature. I encourage city leaders to include these spaces alongside trail development and transportation connectivity, creating a diverse range of recreational uses, including hiking, while ensuring these wild area are preserved before they are lost to overdevelopment.

It's important to act now, as funding and planning decision are currently being made. We are not asking for additional funding, but for a diverse trail system that serves all recreational needs, and preserves natural spaces for generations to come.
